Bill Magee A message from the Chairman of NAHC

NAHC is governed by its members. At the Annual Meeting of Members, held each year in conjunction with the NAHC Annual Conference, members vote on policy issues and elect individuals to serve on the NAHC board of directors. In addition, NAHC's member associations each appoint one to four board members each, depending on the size of the member association. Members may request a copy of the NAHC bylaws by contacting the NAHC office. If you are interested in serving on the board of directors, contact NAHC to request a candidate package.

At the NAHC annual conference each year, two awards are given out. The Jerry Voorhis Award is the highest honor bestowed by the cooperative housing community. Here's a list of the Voorhis Award recipients. The Louise C. Harvey Young Cooperator or the Year Award goes to young cooperators who have demonstrated outstanding leadership. Here's a list of previous Young Cooperator of the Year recipients.
